Sunlit guest room with a vintage brass bed and a wooden vanityNo. 1

The Brass Room

A queen brass bed, a writing desk by the window, and the garden waking up outside.

The Brass Room sits over the east garden and takes the morning sun first. There is a proper reading chair, a carafe of well water on the dresser, and a bathroom with a rainfall shower. It is the room returning guests ask for by name.

The Four-Poster

White curtains, a fireside corner, and the deep quiet of the house's oldest wing.

The Four-Poster is the room for occasions. The bed is dressed in linen, the curtains draw all the way around, and the chairs by the hearth are where more than one engagement has been proposed. The bathroom has a deep soaking tub.
