Breakfast every morning. Dinner at 7:30.

Our kitchen follows the valley, the walled garden, and what arrives fresh that morning. The menu is short, seasonal, and chalked beside the dining-room door.

Breakfast is cooked to order.

Oats soaked overnight, bread from the bakery in Marlow, eggs from the Hendricks farm, coffee poured at the table. If you are walking early, say so at dinner and a wrapped breakfast will wait on the hall table with your name on it.

Dinner is one sitting at half seven, and guests and locals share the room. Tell us about allergies when you book and the kitchen will write around them.

The bar

Local beer, regional whisky, and no television.

The bar is the house's living room. Two ales from the valley brewery, a whisky shelf that favors the local distillery, and a fire that draws walkers out of their boots by nine. Residents and locals drink here; conversations tend to follow.
